Crispy hash browns make a unique ‘crust’ for this delectable bacon and Swiss quiche.

Recipe Ingredients

3 cup
Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns
1 cup
Crystal Farms® Shredded Swiss Cheese
1 Tbsp.
all-purpose flour
4 strips
bacon, cooked, crumbled
2 cups (16 oz.)
Bob Evans® egg whites
3/4 cup
half and half
1/8 tsp.
ground pepper

Instructions

Heat oven to 375° F. Butter bottom and sides of 9-inch glass pie plate. Firmly press hash browns on bottom and sides of pan. Bake for 5 minutes.

In medium bowl combine cheese and flour; stir well. Add bacon, Bob Evans, half and half and pepper. Pour into pre-baked crust.

Continue baking 40 to 45 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean and crust is golden brown.
